MANDIRAM FELLOWSHIP | ADVISORY BOARD | GOVERNING BOARD
The Mundakapadam Mandirams Society is a registered Charitable Society – No. K28 of 1956. This Society is ecumenical in nature and its members are volunteers from the three Episcopal Churches – the Malankara Mar Thoma Church, the Malankara Orthodox Church, and the Diocese of Madhya Kerala in the Church of South India.
The Society has a Fellowship to initiate the purpose, a Governing Board to administer and an Advisory Board to advise in important matters .
Our Organisation
Board of Visitors
Metropolitan of Malankara Orthodox Church, Kottayam Diocese, Bishop of Malankara Mar Thoma Church, Kottayam Kochi Diocese and Bishop of Church of South India, Madhya Kerala Diocese are our Board of Visitors.
Mandiram Fellowship
Mandiram Fellowship is a permanent body and the essential foundation of Mandirams. The members of the fellowship are lifelong volunteers who represent the Malankara Orthodox Church, Malankara Mar Thoma Church and the Diocese of Madhya Kerala in the Church of South India. This basic body of the Mandirams meets on the first Sunday of every month. Mandiram Fellowship evaluates the overall functioning of the Mandirams and provides required suggestions.
Advisory Board
Mandirams Society’s Advisory Board meets once in three months. They assess the activities of the Mandirams and provide valuable suggestions and advice. Advisory Board is appointed for a period of 3 years.
Governing Board
Members of Governing Board of Mundakapadam Mandirams Society include representatives of Mandiram Fellowship; nominees of Advisory Board; representatives of the Malankara Orthodox Church, the Malankara Mar Thoma Church and the Diocese of Madhya Kerala in the Church of South India; secretaries of Mandiram Fellowship and Advisory Board and experts in administration, law, economics and medicine. The tenure of the governing board is for 3 years.
The Governing Board meets every month; assess the activities of the Society, institutions and projects; takes required decisions and provides necessary instructions.
Office Bearers of Mandirams
Governing Board elects the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer from themselves as office bearers of Mundakapadam Mandirams Society. Board may elect a Deputy Chairman and Associate Secretaries to assist Chairman and Secretary. These elected office bearers provide leadership to the institutions and its various projects .
Committees
Different committees like Mandirams Committee, Hospital Executive Committee, comprising of staff and volunteers of the hospital and Society help the office bearers to orchestrate the organisational activities.
